The White Mountain Wild Horse herd is located just north of Rock Springs and Green River, Wyoming.  This herd is often referred to as the Pilot Butte herd due to the large landmark of the same name located in its southern reaches.

In an effort to help save these horses, I have been documenting this herd and sharing their stories.  My goal is to help everyone understand why White Mountain is so lovely, and be encouraged to love and fight for these horses  as I do.

Click here to go to my blog, where you can learn more about this amazing herd.  There is also a Facebook page located here where you can learn about each of the horse bands and get tips to visit the herd yourself.
